Description

Colorized view of Buckingham Palace in London, featuring the eastern façade with the statue of Victory and red tulip beds. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to Maurice and Madame Desproux in Troyes, France, accompanied by a blue 4 pence stamp and a cancellation stamp 'HUNTINGDON' dated May 7, 1976. The printed text on the reverse notes that the façade was rebuilt in 1913 and that the changing of the guard ceremony takes place daily.
