Two-color postcard showing at the top a cruise ship on the Rhine between cliffs, with the inscription 'GRUSS VOM MITTEL RHEIN'. At the bottom, an aerial view of Loreley Castle on a hill overlooking the river. The reverse has handwritten French text, a postmark from Berlin-Heidelberg dated July 1, 1954, a 15 pfennig postage stamp, and the recipient's address in Joigny, France.
