Black and white panoramic view of a large hotel nestled in a dense forest, with snow-capped mountains in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 8, 1955, sent from Bern to Madame A. Goyard in Châtillon (France), mentioning the International Music Festival in Lucerne (August 6–30, 1955) and a postage stamp with cancellation 'EFVE'.
