Description

Coloured view of the medieval castle of Cahir and its weir, with a stone bridge in the foreground. The reverse contains a handwritten letter in French addressed to Madame Picat in Garches, France, as well as an Irish 15-pence postage stamp dated 1931–1937 and a Dublin cancellation. Printed text at the bottom of the reverse describes the history of the castle.
