Description

Locomotive No. 123, built in 1886 by Neilson & Co. at Hyde Park Works, Glasgow, for the Caledonian Railway. It was displayed at the International Exhibition of 1886 in Edinburgh, then served in the Caledonian network before being retired in 1935. On the reverse, blue-printed text detailing its history and mentioning the photograph by Armur Dixon, printed in the United Kingdom.
