Description

Postcard showing a traditional pirogue race on a Cameroonian river, with several boats and spectators in the background. On the reverse, a humorous handwritten letter addressed to a doctor, praising the qualities of a product called 'Tonyl' for pirogue paddlers, signed 'Tonyl'. Three Cameroonian postmarks are affixed, including one of 2 francs and one of 40 centimes, with a cancellation of 'DAKA' dated 13-6-1941.
