Description

An elderly woman, wearing a red shawl, holds a stick and is surrounded by a large herd of sheep and a dog in a field of blooming gorse. On the reverse, handwritten text expresses admiration for the Limousin countryside, with an address to Doullens and a postmark from Les Cars (Haute-Vienne) dated April 17, 1981. The French postage stamp of 1.40 F is affixed at the top right.
