Black and white view of La Croisette in Cannes, with the grand hotels and promenade lined with palm trees. On the back, a handwritten letter dated 1956, sent to 'Mme de la Commenchail' in Cormontichail, with a 12-franc stamp depicting the Pont d'Avignon and a cancellation 'CANNES 1956'.
