On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1950, sent from Cannes to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gérard in Scey-le-Moulinaux, Seine, mentioning a visit to the Basilica of Saint Mary and a return to Nice. 12-centime stamp and Cannes postmark.
