Black and white view of a coastal landscape at Cap d'Antibes, with twisted pine branches dominating a rocky beach and the sea. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 1 March 1940, addressed to 'My dear Reine', recalling memories of the sea and walks. The publisher 'Les Éditions d'Art YVOY' is mentioned at the bottom left, with the serial number 1532.
