Description

View of Mauvezin Castle, located in Capvern-les-Bains (Hautes-Pyrénées), with a winding path and surrounding trees. The back indicates that the castle was nationalized in 1792, then purchased in 1886 to create a historical museum there. The postcard has a cancellation from Capvern dated June 17, 1952, and a 12-centime stamp.
