Illustrated postcard depicting the megalithic alignments of Carnac, with a photo of the menhirs and a black-and-white engraving depicting a sacrifice scene. The reverse contains a handwritten letter dated March 31, 1945, sent from Carnac to Paris, with a 1945 postmark and a Carnac cancellation. The printed text explains the Neolithic origin of the stones and their possible reuse by the Celts or Gauls.
