Black and white photograph of a funerary sculpture depicting the Virgin Mary holding the body of Christ, surrounded by two women, in the cathedral of Évreux. The reverse indicates the publisher J. Saussaye and the approximate date of the 17th century for the 'mise au tombeau'. The image is dated around 1900–1920, the period of distribution of this type of postcard.
