Black and white view of the Caux castle nestled in a valley surrounded by forests, with a ray of sunlight passing through the mountains. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to 'Le Guaudardis' in Lausanne, dated August 22, 1951, with two Swiss stamps (5 and 20 francs Helvetia) and a Lausanne postmark. The publisher is listed as 'Édition Phot. Lausanne'.
