Description

Aerial panoramic view of Cefalù in Sicily, showing the town nestled at the foot of an imposing rocky promontory and bordered by the Mediterranean Sea. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated July 16, 1983, sent from Cefalù to Paris, where the sender expresses hope that the recipient is well and describes the island as picturesque and splendid. Italian stamp of 300 lire (Castello Normanno) canceled in Cefalù on July 18, 1983.
