Black and white aerial view of the Mer de Glace glacier, with the Aiguille du Tacul and Giant Glacier, in the Grandes Jorasses. The reverse has handwritten correspondence dated July 26, 1953, sent from Chamonix to Madame Anne-Marie Faucher in Paris, with a 12-centime stamp and a Chamonix postmark.
