Black and white panoramic view of the Aiguille du Midi, with the Grand Combín in the background, and the Aiguille du Midi cable car (3842 m), described as the world's highest cable car. The reverse side features a handwritten letter addressed to Paris, dated January 16, 1957, with a 12-franc stamp and a Chamonix cancellation.
