Description

Black and white aerial view of the Gothic cathedral in Chartres, dominated by its two spires, amidst a dense urban fabric. The back indicates the publisher 'Cléro-photo', the address 'Aéro-Photo, 19, rue du Sévian, Paris', and a handwritten correspondence addressed to Emil Beyen in Houssang-sur-Oise. Postmark canceled in Chartres on February 2, 1962.
