Interior of the Royal Chapel of the Palace of Versailles, showing a painted vault depicting the Resurrection, Corinthian columns, and an organ case. The reverse indicates that the chapel was built from 1699 to 1710 according to the plans of J. Hardoin-Mansart, that the organ case was executed based on the designs of R. de Cotte (1708), and that Louis XVI and Marie-Antoinette were married there on May 16, 1770.
