View of the Norman castle of Criquieville, north facade dated 16th century, with slate roofs and stone walls with checkerboard pattern. Reverse: handwritten text of a letter dated May 1st, sent to Madame Mace in Puteaux, with a 20 centimes French postal stamp and Nantes postmark. Publisher: Artaud Frères et Fils, Nantes.
