Colorized view of a riverbank lined with flowering trees, with a small wooden boat moored to the shore. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 25, 1955, sent from Chelles to Mr. Paul Vaillant Couturier in Bercy, with a 12 franc stamp and a postmark of March 26, 1955.
