Illustration of a Martin 130 'China Clipper' aircraft of the Pan American Airways System, at the port of Honolulu, with passengers on board. The reverse indicates that the image represents the first stop of this famous aircraft during the inauguration of the transpacific service between San Francisco and Manila in November 1935, and specifies that it is card No 23 of a series published by the Bath Postal Museum in March 1990.
