Colored view of the lawn and canal of Clare College in Cambridge, with people cycling and swans on the water, and a large historic building in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to 'Dear Sir', signed by 'Jean-Pierre Pivatton', and a printed legend stating that Clare College was founded in 1326 by Richard Baden and took the name of Clare from Lady Elizabeth de Clare, its secondary founder. The postcard is published by J. Arthur Dixon Studios.
