Description

Black-and-white aerial view of Reichsburg Cochem Castle overlooking the Moselle, surrounded by terraced vineyards and a village. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated July 6, 1954, sent from Cochem to Paris, with a 10-pfennig German postage stamp and a Cochem postmark. The publisher is mentioned at the bottom right: 'Verlag N. R. Scherbach, Nr. 117'.
