Black and white view of a stone distillery, surrounded by vegetation, dated to the end of the 19th century. Printed text on the reverse indicates that it is from the collection of the Saint-James Rum Museum in Sainte-Marie, and that it was built by R.P. Leffebure, superior of the Brothers of Charity, around 1700. The publisher is mentioned as M.D.P. Latham, printed in France.
