Aerial view of Taxco, a colonial mining town in Mexico, highlighting the Santa Prisca cathedral dominating the main square. The back has a handwritten letter addressed to Mr. Louis Nicol, director of the Pasteur Institute in Garches, France, dated 7-10-55. Three Mexican stamps (20, 30 and 40 cents) are applied, with a cancellation 'ACAPULCO, MEXICO' and a postmark 'CORREO AÉREO'.
