Description

Black and white view of the Citadel of Corte perched on a rocky spur, with old buildings and a mountainous landscape in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 1st, 1960, sent from Porto, mentioning an excursion to Piazza Roma and photos taken in Corte. The postmark and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
