View of the Gothic cathedral of Coutances, with its towers and bell tower, surrounded by trees and a garden. Reverse: postcard sent to Madame Madeleine Boisard in Paris, dated September 26, 1956, with a 120-franc stamp and a postmark from Cherbourg-sur-Mer. Handwritten text expresses the hope that the fresh air has restored the recipient's health.
