View of a tomb decorated with white marble and floral motifs and inlaid with colored stones. The green lid is decorated with Arabic calligraphy inscriptions. On the reverse, the text reads 'Saladin's Tomb' and 'Le Tombeau de Saladin' in French, with a Syrian postmark depicting Saladin and an address to A. Chahinian in Damascus.
