Description

Postcard showing a relief view of Berchtesgaden with the mountains of the Alps Tauern, with names of peaks and places such as Königsee, Salzbergwerk and St. Bartholomä. Reverse: sent from Berchtesgaden to France on 12 July 1956, with a German 10 pfennig stamp and French 1 and 10 franc stamps, postmark from Berchtesgaden, address to Mr. Testaint in Saint-Brieuc, sender's signature R.T. and mention 'Hitler's nest'.
