Description

Black and white view of the Hofvijver in The Hague, with a central fountain projecting a jet of water into the sky, in front of an imposing historic brick building covered in ivy. The printed text at the bottom repeats the title. On the reverse, a handwritten letter in French addressed to Mr. Rigot in Séene, France, dated May 20, 1953, with a red 1953 stamp and a circular cancellation 'NEDERLAND'.
