Five-view postcard of the Deutsche Alpenstraße, showing the Weissbach Gorge, the Salach Bridge with Reiteralpe, the Passhöhe Wachterl with Watzmann, an autumn tree near Hochkalter and Reiteralpe, and Ramsau with Reiteralpe. The reverse has a handwritten letter dated 1949, sent from Berchtesgaden to Mr. and Mrs. Battiaux in Aonièces, France, with a 20 pfennig postage stamp and a Berchtesgaden cancellation.
