Description

Colorized postcard depicting a statue of a chained Christ, framed in a gilded baroque frame, within the Pilgrimage Church of Steingaden. The back indicates that the publisher is 'Gebr. Metz' and that the image is a reproduction of a painting by Dominikus Zimmermann, dated 1746–54. A postmark is visible in the top right corner.
