Description

Statue of the Chained Christ, depicting Christ on the cross, in a gilded baroque frame. Printed text on the back indicates that the publisher is 'Metz' and that the card is a 'Farbphotokarte' (color photo postcard) of the Pilgrimage Church of Steingaden, built between 1746–54 by Dominikus Zimmermann. The card is an 'Ansichtskarte' (postcard) from the ZTC 53 series.
