View of a historical building in Diyarbakır, Turkey, with ornate architecture featuring columns and arches, showing broken windows and visible signs of deterioration. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Légeas in Paris, dated 17–20 August 1961, mentioning the impossibility of photographing the Armenian city and admiration for the architecture. Turkish postal stamp of 20 liras with a Diyarbakır postmark.
