Description

Reliquary bust of Charles IV, dated around 1350, adorned with the crown he wore at his coronation in Aachen in 1349. The bust features a silver face with a gilded beard, crowned with a richly decorated crown, and clad in armor embroidered with eagle and fleur-de-lis motifs. The reverse indicates the publisher W. Delbrouck, Aachen, and mentions the provenance of the bust.
