Propaganda poster by the French Republic for the National Day of Victims of the Sea, illustrated with a grieving woman holding children. Text calling for generosity towards the widows and orphans of Breton sailors lost in storms, signed by Louis Rollin, Minister of Merchant Marine. Reverse: published by Alliance Graphique in Paris, with a note that correspondence on the front is not accepted in all foreign countries.
