Description

English drawing room dating from around 1722–25, featuring a fireplace and an ornate ceiling in a baroque style. The decoration includes papered walls with patterned wallpaper, a parquet floor in herringbone pattern, and antique furniture. The reverse indicates the publisher: Victoria and Albert Museum, with the number W.169 and the printing date 1960.
