Description

Painting by Sir John Everett Millais (1829-1896), founding member of the pre-Raphaelite movement, dated 1883. The young girl in a white dress with a pink ribbon holds a bird in her hands, against a forest background. Reverse: printed text describing the work and its author, mentioning the collection of Robert Mossman, publisher The Medici Society Ltd., London, and 'Printed in England'.
