Panoramic view of Düsseldorf with a sailing boat in the foreground, a Gothic spire to the left, and modern buildings to the right, including a skyscraper. The reverse features a handwritten letter in French addressed to Madame P. Rivoallon in NORD FINISTÈRE, dated 3–19 October 1965, sent from Düsseldorf by Deutsche Bundespost with a 10 pfennig stamp and a circular cancellation.
