Detail of a 15th-century Polish wooden statue depicting the Madone de Kreuzlawa, with a golden crown and downcast gaze. Reverse: handwritten message dated December 3, 1926, addressed to Mr. Mathieu, mentioning a morning mass. Printed text indicates the publisher Fernand Hazan, Paris, and the provenance from the National Museum in Kraków.
