Description

Black and white view of a glacial cave with sculpted ice formations, at the foot of the Rhone Glacier at 2300 m. The reverse has handwritten text dated August 14, 1959, addressed to Madame Traignac at the Hôtel des Roches in Les Houches, Haute-Savoie, France, with a Helvetia stamp and a Bellin postmark.
