Description

Interior view of the Altar Mayor of the El Escorial monastery, with its richly carved and painted Baroque decoration under an ornate vault decorated with frescoes. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Saint-Naure in Monaco, dated April 1st, 1963, with a 30-cent Spanish stamp and a postmark from El Escorial.
