Description

Aerial view of the fortified castle of El Morro in San Juan, with visitors on the ramparts and the ocean in the background. The reverse indicates the construction of the castle between 1539 and 1606, with reinforcements between 1569 and 1606. The address is destined for Mlle Madeleine Marguis in Paris, with an air postage stamp from the Virgin Islands and a 1961 cancellation.
