Description

Panoramic view of an alpine village nestled in a valley in autumn, with golden-leaved larches in the foreground and snow-capped peaks in the background. The back has handwritten text dated 27/3/77, signed 'A. Lainé', indicating an abandonment of Vallée Blanche due to bad weather and a visit to Chamoux and Col de Balme. The postmark is canceled at Eisten, Lôtschental, Switzerland.
