Panoramic view of the Meije massif in Oisans, with the village of Le Chazelet below and a snow-capped summit dominating the scene. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 16, 1960, addressed to Mme Blunecom in Grigny, accompanied by a 100-franc stamp of the French Republic and a cancellation of 'BANAZOL' (Hautes-Alpes).
