View of the Etna volcano in full eruption in 1983, with a visitor in a red outfit on a terrain covered in lava and yellow mineral deposits. On the reverse, an Italian postcard dated 1983, with a 500 lire stamp depicting the Castello di Rovereto, and handwritten text in French and German mentioning a stay in Rome and an eruption of Etna.
