Black and white view of a stone staircase in a Mediterranean village, with a bar-tabac in the background. The reverse has handwritten text addressed to Paris, two French stamps of 10 and 160 centimes, and a postmark from Monaco dated May 6, 1955. The publisher 'La Cigogne' is printed at the bottom right.
