Black and white view of the fortified gate of Flavigny-sur-Ozerain, with two round stone towers and a central passage. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 14/8/51 sent from Flavigny (Côte-d'Or) to a 'dear little sister Vicelle,' mentioning a memorable trip to Auvergne and a return to Paris. The publisher 'C. Oim' is printed at the bottom right of the front.
