Description

Postcard showing the Solar Furnace of Odeillo, a massive parabolic mirror 54 meters in size, located at 1800 meters altitude in the Pyrenees. The reverse bears a handwritten correspondence, a Spanish postage stamp of 200 pesetas, and a cancellation from Font Romeu dated 21 July 1978. The publisher is mentioned as 'Edition D. Font Romeu, Renaud, France'.
